Stephanie Lee Shields, age 52, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. She was born April 8, 1964 in Lebanon, Ohio, the daughter of Dorsey and Patricia (Alfrey) Mullins.
Ms. Shields was a 1982 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, and formerly worked at the Salvation Army, Crown Room and was the assistant manager for the Dollar General Store in Downtown Madison.
Survivors include two sons: Jeffrey A.Skirvin, Jr. and his wife, Joanna of Hanover, Indiana, and Jesse Lee Skirvin of Madison; three brothers: Mike Mullins of Indianapolis, Jamie Mullins and his wife, Renee of Canaan, Indiana, and Eddie Grindell of Rhode Island; two sisters: April Humphrey and her husband, Brian of Canaan, and Tammy Spaulding of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one granddaughter, Lindsay Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Donna Mullins, who raised her; and one sister, Teresa Webster.
The Reverend Frank McGee will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, with interment to follow in the Salem Christian Church Cemetery.
