Obituary for Bobby Dwayne Franks

Bobby D. Franks, age 58, of Knoxville, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Knoxville. Born January 20, 1958 in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of Albert Franks and Mary (Carey) Stephens.

Mr. Franks lived most of his life in Knoxville and worked in retail for various companies. He was also an auto mechanic.

Survivors include his companion, Melissa Jaeger of Knoxville; his mother, Mary Stephens of Milton, Kentucky; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and James Shell of Milton; and his companion's sons, Ryan and Matthew of Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his father in October 2015; and two brothers: Steven Franks in 1956 and Ronald Franks in 1985.

The Reverend Ferrill Davis will conduct private graveside services at the Bedford IOOF Cemetery, Bedford, Kentucky.
