James H. Bolton, age 90, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1926 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of Joe and Mae (Friz) Bolton.
Mr. Bolton had lived in Lexington since 1962. He had formerly been employed in Madison with the former Pearl Packing Company, the former glue factory, and retired in 1990 as a fork-lift operator at Rotary Lift Corp. (now Vehicle Service Group.) He enjoyed "tinkering" around his home.
He will be sadly missed by one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip H. and Honey Bolton, Lexington; two sisters: Marie Tandy of Marietta, Georgia and Julia Sturgill of Brookville, Florida; one step-grandson, William Cook; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, the former Mary Beatrice Perry on December 25, 2009, and to whom he was married in 1948.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
