Mrs. Linda M. Worcester, age 66, of Kent, Indiana and Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her residence in Richmond. She was born on March 29, 1950 in Trimble County, Kentucky, the daughter of Edna Violet Coghill and James Lee Chatham.
Mrs. Worcester was a lifelong resident of Trimble County and Jefferson County, Indiana and formerly lived in Madison and Hanover. She earned an associate degree in business administration from IVY Tech and was a homemaker.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Pete Worcester, to whom she was married on September 28, 1990 in Hanover; one daughter and son-in-law: Holly and Jason Davis of Lexington, Indiana; two sons: John Dahlem of Kent and Matthew Dahlem and his wife, Carla of Madison; nine sisters: Betty Aulick, Mary Smolarzyck, Jo Ann Cox, Wilma Anderson and Loris Bennett, all of Madison; Virginia Richardson of Paris Crossing, Indiana; Sue Cull and Doris Beard of Milton, Kentucky; and Shirley Davidson of Bedford, Kentucky; seven brothers: Richard Coghill of Scipio, Indiana; Frankie Coghill and Dougie Chatham of Madison; Robert Chatham of Vevay, Indiana; Ralph and William Chatham, both of Lexington, Indiana; and Freddie Chatham of Hanover; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Victor and James Chatham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel. It was her wish that her body be donated to Indiana University Medical Center following the services.
Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, December 27, and from 9 to 11 AM Wednesday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
