Ruth Ann Church, age 67, of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Signature Health Care of Trimble County in Bedford. Born August 9, 1949 in Mountain View, Arkansas, she was the daughter Houston and Helen (Workman) Prince.
Mrs. Church moved to Trimble County in 1988 and worked as a seamstress for Louisville Sada in Eminence, Kentucky. Prior to that, she worked for Virco Manufacturing Corporation in Conway, Arkansas. She loved to sew and knit, play Bingo and cards, and cook. She helped raise her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by one daughter, Sharon Church of Louisville. Kentucky; two sons: Michael Beatty of Louisville, and Daniel Beatty of Edinburgh, Indiana; one brother, Robert Prince of Milton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Church, who died on September 14, 2014, and to whom she was married for twenty-eight years; one son, Stoney Bird in 2015; and one sister, Janice McDole in 2008.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and notice of the time and place will be published.
The family requests contributions in memory of Ruth Ann Church be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service location.
