Anna Marie Hannah, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1937 in Madison, the daughter of George Aley, Sr. and Thelma Irene (Mikesell) Beech.
Ms. Hannah attended Madison High School and graduated on May 27, 1964 from the former House of James Beauty College in Madison. She was a beautician for several years before beginning her employment at Rotary Lift from where she retired.
Ms. Hannah attended Calvary Baptist Church for several years and volunteered as an aide in local elementary schools and at the Waters of Clifty Falls. Her family was her main hobby, especially her grandchildren. She looked forward to watching her granddaughter play ball at Samford University, and was able to attend Indiana University and the University of Kentucky games when they played Samford. She was also an animal lover, especially her cats, enjoyed yard work and was an avid sports fan.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Andy Crozier of Madison; two sons: Ben Hannah of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jack Douglas Hannah of Vevay, Indiana; one brother, Jerry Beech of Madison; two grandchildren: Zach and Olivia Crozier; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Robert and Charles Beech; and one sister, Daisy Croxton.
Pastor Bob Hicks will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery and will be private.
Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017, and from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Sunday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the King's Daughters' Hospital Hospice and Home Health. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
