Robert Neil Breece
Robert Neil Breece, 70, of Indianapolis, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at Community Hospital South. Born August 17, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of John Raymond and Velma Marie Breece.

He graduated in 1969 from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Spanish and minoring in Psychology and Sociology.

He served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve during the Vietnam War from November 21, 1969 to June 29, 1975, achieving the rank of Captain. While in the military, he flew a C-130 and graduated with a commercial pilot’s license from USAF Pilot Training, Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He retired in 2013 as an independent program analyst (all of which was self-taught) and was formerly a data processing manager for Underwriters Surety, Inc., both in Indianapolis. While living in Madison, he attended Zoar United Methodist Church and had fond memories of growing up in Madison, was a lifelong IU Basketball fan, a freelance photographer, and had a great sense of humor.

Mr. Breece will be sadly missed by three daughters: Jenni Benson and her husband, Tommy of Laguna Beach, California, Robyn Breece and her fiancé, Chris Locke, and Belinda Russell and her husband, Joey, all of McCordsville, Indiana; four grandchildren: Chase Benson, Riley Arbuckle, Mason Locke and Connor Russell; and Kim Kuppler Miracle of Louisville, Kentucky, with whom he was raised.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his foster parents, Carl and Norma Kuppler of Madison.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison with interment to follow in Zoar Church Cemetery.

The Honor Guard of Jefferson Post #9, American Legion, Madison and the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio will conduct military honors at the funeral home and cemetery.
