Mary Ann Rogers, age 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of Hanover, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Waters of Scottsburg in Scottsburg. Born May 16, 1938 in Washington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Reverend Henry C. and Elizabeth (Warr) Rogers.
She was a graduate of Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and retired in 1999 as a record keeper from the Department of Human Services in Hamilton County, Ohio. Prior to that, she served for fourteen years with the Ohio National Life Insurance Company.
She was a member of the Hanover Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, where she sang in the choir, and the Pilot Club of Cincinnati.
She will be sadly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Freda Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Rogers in 2012 and one sister, Barbara Rogers in 1965.
Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Hanover Cemetery.
