Life Story for Julie Hambrick

Julie  Hambrick
Julie Ball Hambrick, age 46, of Madison, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born September 15, 1971 in Carrollton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of H.J. and Sue (Raker) Ball.

She attended Western Kentucky University, the University of Louisville and Sullivan Business College in Louisville, and was formerly employed with Humana of Louisville, as the associate editor of Louisville Magazine, assistant curator for the Kentucky Arts and Crafts Museum, and the Worthington, Kentucky and Trimble County, Kentucky newspapers.

She was a member of New Life Assemblies in Bedford, Kentucky, and enjoyed writing, and crafts with her son.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Owen Hambrick; her mother, Sue Ball of Madison; two sisters: Cindy McKay and her husband, Chuck of Madison and Jamie Larrison of Milton, Kentucky; two nieces and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jay Scott Ball.

Reverend Aaron Snelling will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 West Main Street, Downtown Madison, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton.

Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2018, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Norton Palliative Care Program at Norton Hospital, or the Kentucky Arts and Crafts Museum. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
