Life Story for Madge "Dalene" Arnett (Pekinpaugh)

Madge  "Dalene"  Arnett (Pekinpaugh)
Madge "Dalene" Arnett, age 76, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her residence. Born June 13, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Delbert and Myrle Pekinpaugh.

She graduated from Saint Elizabeth School of Nursing and served for forty years at the King's Daughters' Hospital. For twenty years, she was a charge supervisor, and retired in 2004 as a nurse in the emergency room.

On October 14, 2000, she was united in marriage to William "Sonny" Pearl.

She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Bedford, Kentucky, and enjoyed walking, shopping, and playing golf. She was a huge UK fan.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Sonny; two daughters: Dawn Arnett-Wingham of Bedford, Kentucky and Dana Dailey of Deputy, Indiana; one son, David Arnett of Paris, Kentucky; two step-daughters: Athena Gearhart of Westport, Indiana, and Jennifer Asher of Farmington, Missouri, two step-sons: Bill Pearl and David Pearl, both of Westport; grandchildren Zachary, Noah, Gabriel and Aaron Arnett, and Sydney, Courtney and Layton Dailey; and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Arnett, and one grandchild, Taylor Dailey.

Reverend Ferrill Davis will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton.

Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018, and from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Wednesday.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Henry Trimble County Animal Shelter. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
