How I met the wonderful Doris McEndre

Before the christmas of 2015 my aunt whom works at Salem Crossing told me about a wonderful little lady named Doris. That was just the start of one of the best friendships I've ever had. I met Doris before Christmas of 2015 and she was sweetest most generous person I had ever met. I visited Doris after Christmas last year and Santa Clause had made a visit to the nursing home and brought her a pink movie player, she took my mom and I to her room and got it out for us and showed us a movie on it with her headphones. She was so excited. Little did I know for the next year we would be best friends. Everytime I visited Doris she would always tell me how crazy everyone in the nursing home was. She loved to laugh and color. She loved dogs. Sadly Doris's life was cut a little too short, but she will always be remembered.
